Senior Biostatistician

Edward Bendert, M.S., joined Statistics Collaborative, Inc. (SCI) in 2010. He is a member of the American Statistical Association and the Society for Clinical Trials.

At SCI, Mr. Bendert has provided statistical support for projects in areas such as oncology, eye disease, and cardiovascular disease. He programs datasets and statistical analyses, validates SAS program code, and assists in the writing of study reports. He serves as the independent reporting statistician for Data Monitoring Committees (DMCs) for several Phase 3 trials evaluating treatments in HIV.

He received his B.A. cum laude in Mathematics from Boston University (2008) and his M.S. in Biostatistics from the University of Minnesota (2010). His master’s project was titled “Design Considerations in the Presence of Subgroups with Different Expected Treatment Effects”.
